Marine Simplex Oil Filter: Basic Function & Ship Auxiliary System Application
A marine simplex oil filter is a single-cavity filtration device designed for marine fuel oil, lube oil and hydraulic oil purification, a standard part for low-load ship piping systems. Made of cast iron and 304 stainless steel filter mesh, this single oil filter complies with CB/T425, JIS F7208 marine industry standards, removing metal debris, rust and sediment inside circulating oil to protect marine diesel engines, gearboxes and auxiliary pumps. Different from duplex models, the marine simplex oil filter features compact structure, low cost and easy installation, perfect for small yachts, work boats and standby oil pipelines with non-stop maintenance-free demands. It adopts bolt quick-opening cover design for fast filter element replacement, with stable pressure resistance up to 1.0MPa, adapting to ship vibration and salt fog corrosive marine environment. Vessel engineers prefer simplex oil filters for secondary oil filtration, auxiliary machinery oil loops and cabin small hydraulic systems. Regular mesh cleaning can extend filter service life, reduce engine wear and lower daily ship operation cost.
